Overall:
Video:
Seemed good for picture quality.
Audio:
Pretty average here as well. No buzzing or anything to damage your speaker, but nothing very fancy either.
Subtitle:
Sorry, I don't know if the other reviewer really understood any of it, but being a subtitle fan for 10 yrs+, all I can say is they SUCK - same as SMJ to X, the names are translated and it gets confusing. Suddenly people are named "Red Hat" - everyone's name becomes a battle of who are they talking about? When the dialogue starts running faster it gets very difficult to follow.
Comment:
I admit I'm sticking to my Fansubs here.

Video: 4/5 A TV rip. Doesn't look bad. A tad grainy though. Audio: 5/5 No problems here. Subs: 3/5 Obvious HK Originals. It's more often Engrish than not, but even when it is Engrish it is usually very understandable. The names are not Chinese but are not always correct (there is some inconsitency with the naming as well). Also, the occasional problems of timing, unsubbed lines, and a funky typo or two as in most HK releases. Chapters: One at the beginning of each episode. 14 episodes spread out over 3 discs (I think it's 5/4/5). Verdict: Overall, not a bad purchase as the Engrish subtitles are usually very understandable, but the MI release of the second half of this series uses fansubs, and being on two discs instead of three you'll find it cheaper, so you'd probably be better off with that one than this.
