The video quality was good, but not as good as DYRL. Oh well, still great.
Audio:
The audio was excellent.
Subtitle:
The audio was excellent.
Comment:
While this movie is good, it is no where near great. If you are a Macross fan, you will like it, like I did, but if you aren't, don't waste your time.

A relatively sharp transfer for a feature made in 1987, there are only a few minor flaws here such as minor macroblocking etc... but on the whole everything seems fine and dandy. No problems with this aspect of the feature.
Audio:
Apparently mixed in Dolby Digital (at least that's what it says on the box) this disc sounded fine to me. I was still able to hum along pretty nicely to all of Lynn Minmei's songs throughout my time watching it, so I figure that the sound wasn't too bad. Seriously though, everything souned A-OK.

Like the previous reviewer has said, this disc has no subtitles but then againh it doesn't need them since this is a musical tribute of sorts to the events illustrated in the Macross T.V series and the Macross movie Do You Remember Love? To be honest while there are no technical problems with this disc, the thirty minute running time and the subject matter means it's for Macross fans only (hence why I myself bought it). Recommended for Macross fans and not for anybody else.

The first thing people should know is that this release has no subs. Most people who sell it claim that it has English/Chinese subs. Even on the back of the DVD case, it says that it has subs. This is my second copy of this DVD. I bought a second copy because I thought this version had subs. The good news is that subs aren't really needed for this realease since 99% is music videos. VIDEO: Looks fine to me, I will give it a 4.5 AUDIO: Sounded good. I don't really have a big audio setup but I had no problems here. 4.5 SUBS:NO SUBS. Don't need them on this release anyway. Overall this is great buy which contains some great music, plus you get to see some clips of an older Minmei, Hikaru and Misa.
