Video is ok. A little bit worse than in the first parts. Some ghosting and some pixellation, but still slightly above average.
Audio:
Nothing wrong with the audio.
Subtitle:
Nothing wrong with the audio.
Comment:
If you watched the first parts, you have to watch this one, of course. But the story gets weaker after the hunter exam is passed. Especially the sky tower story arc, which reminded me of a mixture between Angelic Layer and Ultimate Fighting ;). Still worth watching, though.

Overall I enjoyed this volume. Hunter X Hunter is a great action/adventure/comedy series. Previous to this I watched the AV version of episodes 1-26. Video: 5/5 Video was great, definitely DVD or LD source. Way better than the VHS source of the AV version for episodes 1-26. Audio: 5/5 No problems hear ? clear and crisp sounding audio. Subs: English subs vary. At worst (as in the first couple episodes) I would rate them at 2/5. At best they get to around 3.5/5. Timing is generally good. Unfortunately there seem to be more episodes with poor subs than good ones. I feel like I missed a lot of the character interaction dialog and meanings with this set. Overall the subs were inferior to the AV sets subs for episodes 1-26. You are able to get keep up with the main topics of the show though. Here are the first lines from episode 1: 01:33:05,258 --> 01:33:07,818 every examinee let you to wait for a long time 01:33:07,861 --> 01:33:12,230 we can arrive soon the final test ground the final test 01:33:13,400 --> 01:33:18,235 it is adopted elimination game that one by one 01:33:18,271 --> 01:33:19,238 now I'd like to 01:33:19,272 --> 01:33:21,172 announce that the grouping way of one by one elimination game 01:33:26,846 --> 01:33:28,074 this is 01:33:28,114 --> 01:33:29,979 couId it be that 01:33:30,016 --> 01:33:32,348 such say the eligibIe in this year 01:33:32,385 --> 01:33:34,478 have onIy one 01:33:42,462 --> 01:33:43,429 how 01:33:43,463 --> 01:33:46,990 such grouping way is it interesting 01:33:48,702 --> 01:33:50,135 such grouping 01:33:50,170 --> 01:33:51,933 it can't 01:33:51,971 --> 01:33:55,270 couId it be that the eligibIe finalIy have onIy one Packaging: 5/5 Good job on this nice gatefold set. Extras: 2/5 Only one beginning and ending per disk. I hate that :) Overall: 4/5 Too bad the subs were not consistent through out the set. The show deserves better. However, if you are a Hunter fan don?t let that stop you from enjoying this great series.

Title: Hunter X Hunter Category: TV Total Episodes: 62 (Part III Episode 27 to 52) Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy The video and audio quality remains at the same level as Part I and Part II, very nice playback with no errors. ^_^ Video (5/5) Audio (5/5) English Subs (4/5): Standard English used not much error in grammar and spelling found. The subs have improved from Part I and Part II. Still didn?t adjust the name of the characters to the right spelling. Continue using the same name as those in Part I and Part II. Chinese Subs (5/5): Chinese subs remains in a high qualified level, good use of language. Only feedback is the changes of characters? name within the series. Found it bit annoying. Managa International has included the subs of the opening theme song and ending theme song, no English subs for those. Packaging (5/5): Excellent Packaging again by Manga International. 3 DVDs box set and contains 26 episodes. Nice box art and inside layer. Looks awesome ^_^ Overall: Must buy! Gon and his friends? Hunter adventure continue in Part III, the story goes on to be more interesting and you will wonder what Gon and others will do after the Hunter Exams and who has become a hunter after all those exams? Watch it found out. Note: Review of Hunter X Hunter continues in Part IV.
