Not bad-but I've seen better, looked like a laser disc rip to me.

Audio:

Very good basic stereo, no hissing, popping etc.

Subtitle:

Very good except for ep.4, looked like engrish-still understandable.

Comment:

This is one of my alltime favorite series, I went back to rewatch it after having been watching OMG the tv series for the past few months.

Video:

No problems at all with the audio.

I really enjoyed the subtitles. On time and were great. Wish more anime provided the same.

I love Oh my goddess! I mean what anime can really be so sad to put a tear into your eyes. I really did enjoy the love & romance aspect of this anime. Great would recommend it to anyone.

Video:

Everything sounded OK! I don't have a big audio setup, but I had no problems!

Subtitle:

Overall the subs on this realease are very good. Small timing issue on the first episode. The only problem I had was with one of the episodes which had lower quality subs than the rest, but It was still fully understandable.

Overall I'm happy with this release. I just wish that one episode had better subs like the rest.

The audio and subs are very good on this set. I do not know if it was my version of the DVD or it is a problem with the compression, but the video would be very sharp and then all of a sudden the picture would become blocks and I would have to fast forward to continue watching this series (I have not had this problem since buying low quality VCD's). The storyline is great, and even with the few problem video sections this is a great buy.

Comment:

Video: Good / Not quite dvd quality but better that vhs. No issues with blocking and such. Sound: Good / No problems Seem fine throughout. Subs: Slight timing issue on disc 1 1st episode. Nothing that really takes away from the story. Review: Overall a good set. Definately worth the low price.

Video:

Tough call! Well I have to say considering the source material is a little old it looks pretty good not exactly on the level of some of the dvds you see today but it feels kinda warm like laserdisc to me which isnt too bad but you dont have that crispness of a dvd rip and the fact that they spaced this on 2 discs would have looked really good. And maybe when this was made that was the only source material available, but i definitely got rid of my old tapes after I got this!

Audio:

The audio is good what can I say they did a good job its there and at a resonable volume.

Subtitle:

Okay this has its moments I mean in some episodes its really good but in some its not so good but not so that you don't know whats going on but you still get the plot. Which is the important part.

Comment:
