Video:

Video was noting special. But as this is a relatively old series I can let it go. As long as the subs are decent...

Audio:

Audio was okay, nothing to downmark it much

Subtitle:

Subs were ok. Some episodes had missing translations for some dialogue. Silly stuff like not putting in spaces, and slight mis timing. However, all of this doesn't really muck up understanding of the series.

Comment:

A cult anime. I havent watched all of it yet, only half way. Very good, very funny in some places. If you like maison ikkoku you will like this as well. Same artwork and the characters bare a lot of SIMILARITIES. A good title, good for the price as well. Packaging was actually quite decent. Don't be put off by the ratings, this set os GOOD

This set is nothing compared to the R1 set released by Animego but still it is worth the money. The series is still a classic and if you have not seen this series yet I highly recommend buying this set just to see what it is all about. Video 4/5: A little bit better than watching the VHS fan-sub version of the series. What can you do about video from the 80's?! =) Audio 4/5: Not great but not bad. Sound like a TV rip. Subtitle 3/5: Very average here. You have some spelling mistakes, some speed subtitles and some timing issues. Sometimes there are not subtitles at all. You can still understand what is going on but you may miss somethings.
