Video:
Ill be honest that the video here wasn't as great as everyone has made it out to be. Just like the Cowboy Bebop set, the Video is very pixelated during high motion scenes. For instance, if there is a lot of flashing, or there is a lot of action on the screnn, there will be quite a bit of macroblocking. Besides that the video seems to be pretty good. The source is from the R1 set, so you get some pretty good quality (albeit R1s aren't THAT great all the time), however, there isn't a bunch of artifacting from an overly large amount of episodes per disc (like some sets will have), or too much compression.
Audio:
The Audio is from the R1 source, so you get both the Japanese and The English audio tracks. The Audio sounds pretty good, with a lot of clarity, no hums, pops, hisses etc. However, it seemed like there was a bit of dropout on some of the later episodes. the volume went down a little bit. I'm not sure if it was actually dropout, or what it may have been, but it was there.

Comment:
I really really enjoyed this set. I thought it was worth my money (all $25) to watch the complete show. The video macroblocking did bother me a bit, but not enough to deter me from watching any more. When watching the set, I did prefer watching in the Japanese Dialogue as opposed to the Dub.edited by kakomu on 06 Dec 2002 1:19 am
