Having heard a lot about this series I was looking forward to seeing it. Here is my review? Video 3/5 Definitely a VHS rip. Telltales are seen throughout. Not enough to keep you from enjoining the show though. Audio 3/5 Nothing great but good enough to get the job done. Subs 3/5 I would have given the subs a 3.5, however, the timing for the subs really gets bad towards the end of the series. The subs must be HK originals. They suffer from literal translations, although, the grammar is good enough to get the meaning across to you. Not sure if the names are correct or not, but they are consistent throughout. Content 4.5/5 This is a great action/adventure series. I found myself quickly pulled into the story. The characters grow on you and you quickly have your favorites that you love to see. This has even become one of my wife?s favorite shows and that says allot. I have not seen the MI version of the episodes 1-26 but I HEAR that it has better subs. It is also supposed to have a DVD or laserdisc transfer so the video and audio should be better. My only caution is this: I loved this series so I purchased the MI sets for episodes 26+. The subs are so bad on that set that I may never get through it to be able to write a full review. Though the timings were better :)
