I don't think people are out of Ideas. I think that america is just licensing crap shows at the moment. Anime has always been hit and miss. Sometimes the show is great other times it blows goats in hell. It has always been this way it just seems we are getting alot more crap.

They've ruined Macross because of all that CG in Macross Zero, VF in battloid mode in CG weatdrop: , I miss the cel animation that made Macross so cool .Macross plus had a bit of CG but it wasnt in your face like Zero.
