Wow, does every function in the US army have that benefit? (retire at 38 with half pay?). Sound like a great deal.

But all the suing is something I worry about, but only while I teach here. Next summer I will be going to intern with a friend of the Family that owns an English teaching school in Japan. I want to teach here in the U.S. for a little while, but my eventual goal is Japan after I earn my masters in English. So, I'll do my best to give a damn about my students in that time and if some little shit head tries to sue me forgiving them an F then screw them, I'll just leave the country.
It would kick major ass if you were my teacher while I'm over there, though mad unprobable :p ...

That would be cool as hell, but yeah, not gonna happen sadly.
Edit: That also means that I will have to shave my Mohawk next summer...that is gonna suck. I always have people say something like "so, you gonna walk in to class with a Mohawk or something?” when I say I wanna be an English teacher. Stupid smartasses…
