Hammer Anime

I would not go as far as changing your signature to remove Hammer, thats like telling Jews not to wear yamacas.... kinda. It's not offensive, just annoying to some. Just try to talk about him less. Much less. Only every 17th post would be a good step in the right direction.

i agree with Wanderer about that.. You dont' have to change sig.. just not talk as much.. Because anyways if i didn't want to see your sig i could turn it off in my options..

Im teriibly sorry Hammer is just the subject I know most about. I'll try to take it down a

I see no problem with it, i talked with Ryo yesterday and the kid really doesnt know anything about music. MC is a christian and he knows him only for that reason strict parents are the reason for that. its not his fault he hasnt been shown real music. i think if you all know that, its easier to understand why he likes M.C. Hammer so much.

Ryo, put on the radio sometimes. Preferably on the weekends in the late evening and try to find some underground stations. Please broaden your musical horizons. There has been soooo much good music made since and before mr. Hammer started.

This will hurt but its true: Hammer is not cool anymore. You will not find any people who will want to participate in your Hammer school nor will you find anyone who will put on parachute pants without getting paid large sums of money for it. Its like an adult man talking about his love for Sesamestreet because he grew up on watching that show.

Do you have a pc on which you can put some music? If so than maybe someone here can send you a mp3 cd with some music that fits your genre (whichever that is). I'd send it myself but I don't have a pc of my own (yet, 2 more weeks and I will Big Grin ). Someone feel called to help Ryo into the 21st century? I'm willing to paypal the cash for the disc and shipping if that's a problem.

Their was a very short lived cartoon that was on ABC for 1-2 years at the most. It was cancelled by ABC when MC Hammer tried to change his image to more of a street thug type rapper

Actually for your information I have met at least one other person who still likes Hammer.

As for him not being cool anymore, neither is Ronin Warriors, so what is your point?

What's your point with bringing Ronin Warriors in here? I haven't even seen that show.

My point is you will be laughed at and won't know why. I'm just trying to prepare you for humiliation if you decide to go public with you Hammer obsession.

Almost everyone here knows what I'm talking about. Rooster worded it very good in the thread of your mtv show. If you would get on that show mtv would use you to make a comedy show of it which revolves arround making fun of the obsessed Hammer fan.

Let me ask you one other thing: Are you white? Noramlly I don't make ANY differences in race but with dancing like MC Hammer it would look even stranger if done by a white man.

You say you know atleast one other person who likes him. I can believe that since I put on "Can't touch this" every now and then. But is he as obsessed as you are? Does he want to become an Hammer impersonator? does he mention him in every other sentence? I think you are so obsessed with him because you don't know what else is out there. I could be wrong though. Can you list some other artists whose music you like? Preferably from this milenium.

I personally think anyone who wants to become an impersonator of their music idol has some issues. You want to work in music, fine, write your own songs but don't pretend to be someone else. Its not cool to be obsessed with any artist, let alone one who had two hit songs about 15 years ago. I bet MC wouldn't be caught dead nowadays wearing those pants. There's a reason why no one in the music business wears those clothes anymore just like there's a reason why his type of happy rap isn't played on the radio anymore. I'm sure he can laugh about that period in his life, just like everyone except you are doing. He was just having fun in that period in his life, you take him to serious.

Jeez, I'm putting to much time into this. Just look at his video's and you should know all you need.

I just thought of something. You could ofcourse go to Las Vegas. You'll feel right at home with all the Elvis impersonators. I think there are lots of shows there that involve impersonators. Don't know if they would want a Hammer but you can always try. Maybe even send some inquiring emails to some casino's. Just mind you I still think people won't take you serious and I think thats what you really want right?

I don't want to ruin your dream but the real world is tough if you want to do something out of the ordinary and people take advantage of that. I just don't see anything positive comming out of what you want and the way you go about it.

Well, I won't change your mind so good luck anyway.

Um...hate to admit it but... yes I am white. Actually teh one I met was almost as obsessed with him as I was, the difference was that she was female. For other music artists I have heard from this mIllenium, you mean ever? well there is

Will Smith

Kutlass

Metallica

Incubus (only one song though)

Creed

and

John Williams

thats is the extent of artists I have heard of from this millenium. Sorry about that. Maybe

I just need to listen to more music artists like you said because so far Hammer, James

Brown, and Elvis are my favs As for being made fun of maybe I cold be main role. Would

be impersonating Hammer as that is what he is about to do anyway. Then again, I might

need a shrink or just need to listen to a greater variety of music. Sorry I got on your

nerves.

For this racist remark, Jugdish earns a permanent ban. It's my first permanent ban and I"m not going to miss him one bit.
