I want to join the Big Brother Big Sister Program because I want to try it out, it looks fun.

Those can be really fun. I was someone's little sister when I was a freshman in college and I did the same thing when I was a senior and had a "little brother" My little brother was also into anime. If both of you are willing to make the effort to get to know each other then I bet you'll have a great time.
