I want to join the Big Brother Big Sister Program because I want to try it out, it looks fun.
Someone will be coming to my house to interview me and check out my house too. I wanted to know what everyone else thought about it, I mean the program.
Not one around here, but volunteering is always noble. What kind of stuff will you be doing with the kids?
i don't know yet, they just told me i would spend about an hour or 2 with the kid per week. i will just have to wait till the interviewer comes to my house.

you can always be the one to evoke the interest aswell
Those can be really fun. I was someone's little sister when I was a freshman in college and I did the same thing when I was a senior and had a "little brother" My little brother was also into anime. If both of you are willing to make the effort to get to know each other then I bet you'll have a great time.
