Ok let me fill you in on something... I love Animediscount.net... The prices are great and the admin is awesome.

But the people at their forum are just down right stupid. Let me show you something an asshole did to me. I posted a thread asking an opinion on which berserk image banner people liked. It was for an opinion to choose which one I would use for a new project.

Some dickhead stole one of my images and put it on his sig on the forums.

Check out the pms I got... And even the one from their own Moderator! The kids name is "Guts279X"

Me:I don't appreciate you stealing one of my images I made... That is for an up and coming project.... YOU cannot just take an image that I put up to show you guys for your opinion.

You have to ask me atleast first. I expect a reply dude.

In any case. It isn't exactly stealing your banner, otherwise we would all be theives because everyone uses someone elses banner. Next time just add a note to your site stating if you want to use my banner, please ask permission first.

To address this matter.

1. This is between you two, so lets solve this in a civilizied manner.
2. This is also more of a personal issue, so next time use the PM's to state your qurrals.

Personally in my opinion. Yeah that's cool that you made the banner Jaded God. It would have been better if Guts asked permission to use it, but it is a website. So he probably stumbled upon it and didn't know you made it. If you advertised the site letting people know it was there. Then you're pretty much asking people to take a look and use the banners.

You two I hope can handle this on your own. Come to some kind of agreement. If any real problems arise. PM me and I'll handle it from there.

First off I posted a test page to ask opinions on my berserk graphic that I was making.. Not for someone to steal or use it...

Website doesn't mean that you can take it... Especially if it is an original work... That wasn't just a normal scan or shot... I edited it fully adding effects, layer effects, blurs, etc. And it will be used for an up and coming project.

Then you should have set up the website so when someone tries to copy the web address, a message will come up that doesn't allow them to use it.
I know this exsists because I was on a website that I tried to use a banner and it wouldn't let me. And that was the one with my animated Kenshin I use right now. I just happen to find it on another website.

UMM it is too stealing KerinSpirit... If I made it myself it is stealing... It is not stealing if you take an image on the web that has been scanned or is everywhere... It is a different matter when I made that image.

Second... The right click disabled protection... It is easy to get around that... You hit enter while right clicking. And I shouldn't/don't have to put a protection on a site that I was just showing some honest people here asking which they like more.

That's cool. Well, in any case. Talk to Guts about removing it if you want him too. If you don't want him too and he refuses. Let me know and I'll remove it. But I'm sure you two can handle this in a civil manner.

I know what you mean.. But here at IA we have had our own problems.. We had some people direct linking our images for there auctions.. Using our bandwidth for there own stuff.. So i had to implement some anti-leech setups on our site.. Which broke the site for some users who have firewalls setup to remove referer's from there Header that the browser sends.. So they to disable that option for it to work on there system.. Sucks how the world is now.. but no matter what you think you always have to protect yourself even when you think you don't.. pretty stupid..

Stealing is still stealing, so if you're religous, just remember chances are he'll burn in H3ll for it. (actualy, does the commandment not to steal count when you copy things? because technically both copies should belong to the first owner.)
