My roommate got Skies of Arcadia for GC, I had already played it for DC. The GC has some graphical enhancements, and its literally packed to the brim with more extra sidequest, it was awsome the second time through.

If Max Collins, Matt Skiba, Jimmy Urine, & Mark Phillips had a child it would be one fu*ked up mofo, but 'it' would be the God of music.

Schultz and I just picked up the Gameboy Player for the GC and I've started playing Golden Sun. Graphics are about the same that they are on the GBA, but the storyline is good. :p

I'm about finished with Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for GBA. I'm playing it on my Gameboy player.
If anybody has not played Castlevania: AOS yet, I would definetly recommend it. The story is a lot better than previous Castlevania's, IMO. The soul system is nice also.

I used to d/l the japanese roms of them before the american copys were released, then later would d/l the english ones too, but I stoped d/ling roms, & I don't own any hand held gaming thing past the orignail gameboy, you know the big clunky ones.

Well today I busted out the Ol' Sega Genesis and played through Vectorman in about 45 minutes and immediatel after, I played through EarthWormJim in about 1 hour and I think 10 minutes. Those games are SOOOOooo Godly!!!
Now I'm playin' through Chrono Trigger again and Diablo2. All this time of having no job I have been playing the CRAP outta some Great Old Games.
Thinkin' about playing through Sonic & Knuckles with the Game Genie on so I can play with Hyper Mode on...you know the Super SUPER Sonic that has the blurry effect. I love that thing!!!

By the way...is Silent Hill 3 as good as it looks??? I really liked number 2
but never completed it. I am at the part just before...SPOILER... you fight the multiple Pyramid Heads....................END SPOILER......
and was wondering if I should pick up number 3. It's a reaaly great series. I hope 3 is even better because it sure looks it. Man that series puts Resident Evil to Shame!!!

Silent Hill 3 looks alot scarier that the last installment.
It has a creep out element that the last game didn't (not to say the last one wasn't scary).
Right now I am playing oldies, but goodies as well. All from the SNES era.

Well while Silent Hill and Resident Evil both started off in the same Genera (or created it if you prefer) RE is now more of a action movie that happens to have zombies as bad guys, but it really is some secret organization that are the real bad guys... So the scary stuff has been dulled out... Look at RE CVX and compare it to the remake RE and tell me what the big difference is...
SH on the other had did just the opposite... They played up on the whole scare or freak you out effect. It's a great hook...playing any of those games in the dark alone (or with your girlfriend) will scary you. *spoiler*(hey the CG nurse scene near the end of SH 1 where the blood comes down her face is a classic) *end spoiler* My fav thing about SH is the fact that the main character doesn't shoot like some off duty special forces guy who wonder in to SH they keep it real. Many be that is why they made the people in RE cops or SF to keep the spot on aim system more realistic...
Oh and what is up with all the game taking a female lead or changing to a female lead...?
PS picked up Nightfire for the GC good game as good as Golden Eye is some respects but lacks in others... at least the story line is better... Hey bond has kissed 4 women in the first 5 missions...
