Well, from what I can tell about End of Evangelion, it's what the last episode of the TV series would be if they hadn't run out of money 
So itpretty much goes episode 25, End of Eva/Episode 26 happening pretty much simultaneously. Hard to explain with out adding spoilers.
And my quick explanation on what happens in the end is jsut that. A quick explanation. I'm not trying to downsize the series. While it wasn't one of my favorites, it still was pretty good. It's just that's pretty much what happened in the end. A deepr meaning to it you have to discover for yourselves :wink:
