How could I forget Tenacious D! The hardest rocking band ever! I still don't see why Beefcake said I look like Jack Black. I don't look like him, act, maybe, look, no.

Another problem with the old band was I was basicly the only one true to old school stuff. I raised most of the kids around here. I turned one from a total prep to a werid freak, & a looser who was doomed to fail 7th grade into something almost respectible. I was the origaninal one that stood around & gave the anti-mainstream speeches. And then when they got into mainstream bands it all went to hell, & they started telling me how I didn't deserve to listen to the old school stuff, & that I wasn't a punk (which I never claimed to be). Funny thing was they said sh!t like that because I became more mature, & didn't do the gay things they did as often as they did. When you have a lost child come to you & ask you to hold a suicide note you tend to mature a lot fast in order to help others, but that's a story, or execuse they don't know of, nor do I want them to. They sold out, not me. Sure I listen to a bit of main stream junk these days, but not as much as I used to back before, & right as I was discovering punk.

They got titles like stupid reject, I got called the Elvis of Punk Rock.

I went to the Rock the Mic tour on friday. I was pretty drunk and everybody was smoking ganja. I hate rap but the drunkness made it more tolerable.


I don't like much drum n bass. The only real dnb djs i like are Andy C (fucking badass) and LTJ Bukem (very smooth).

Anywho, on the subject of music, or something close. I got my computer back & better than ever. It's fully upgraded & all, but now the volume is like only 1/20 as loud as it used to be, which sucks.

I've been in school for 2 days already, and I've been asked to be lead singer of a band. I met the guy in the hall when he ran into me, and we were talkin at lunch and WOW. Yeah, the band is basically him on guitar, and his best friend on Bass. They/we don't have a drummer right now because they got rid of the first guy...he sucked:eek: I've now gotta get a PA, and a phone so I can get a hold of the others.

I'm definitely what you'd label a Club Kid. I go to clubs all the time, though I'm not into the crap most Club Kids get labeled for. So, to boil it down my favorite genre of music is Trance, music like The Crystal Method, Orbital, The Cynic Project, Paul Oakenfold, etc., though I listen to a lot of alternative punk kind of music too. I think the last concert I went to was a Crystal Method concert at the House of Blues, and they kicked ass. My sister went to that one concert with Korn and Disturbed down in Atlanta and she said it was really good. I mostly see local bands when I go out to play pool with friends at Billiards. We have House of Blues here, so we get concerts all the time. I just never have any time to go lately because of work, like now I'm in Joplin, Missouri finishing up some credit union software and most of the time I'm just online til something comes up or someone tells me to check a system or update something. Thank God I'm back home at the end of August. I'm actually glad someone started this thread. Gave me some good leads on some bands and songs I should check out, so thanks.

Have you heard his remix of 'idioteque' or 'kid a' or whatever by Radiohead. Not even laughable. Apparently he only added a high-hat tinkle every few seconds. Ick!
