Optimistic, you could use cd cleaning solution if you don't want to use water. They sell them for pretty cheap too.

I don't know if you can call me "weak willed". I spent of $2,000 dollars on dubbed Ranma tapes alone ( yes it still hurts!). So I guess you could call me Fed up!
