Exotism |

More than once I've heard Portuguese model scouts say that it's hard to find a supermodel among Portuguese women because they're (we're) not exotic enough, we're too "pureblooded" (hate this word!). However, to me that doesn't really make a lot of sense. Sure, to ourselves we're obviously not exotic but I'm certain we look exotic to someone, somewhere in the world, which brings me to the question I wanted to ask: What is an exotic person to you?As I said, I believe exotism is a matter of perspective. To me an Asian person (from anywhere in Asia) is exotic, so is a nordic person and this because to me they're Quote:Intriguingly unusual or different; excitingly strange
On the other hand African and Latin people aren't exotic to me because they're "common" (I mean no offense). I'm certain that to a nordic a blue eyed, blond person isn't all that exotic but perhaps an African person will be. People of mixed ethnicities will (like Adriana Lima or Tiger Woods), in my opinion, look exotic to almost everyone but obviously this isn't a rule.
Since there are quite a few people here from different ethnicities and nationalities I'd like to hear what you all have to say about this.

Well, I just got back from seeing doom in the theatre and I absoluely loved it. I am and have been a huge doom fan since the first game and I truly thought they did an excellent job. They slighty tweeked the story but you need to realize that doom has so little story that what they tweaked made it better. And the guys at id had total involvement so they signed off completely on it.
They did everything right, you got the uac on mars messing around with some stuff from an ancient mars civilization, you got the guns and the BFG ooorah, you got the marines shooting up the demons, the mars facility is soo close to the games its great, you got the amped doom music playing here and there, you got lots o blood and gore, and best of all, the fps sequence is not through the whole movie but it ties in with story and it is one the coolest sequences I have seen in a movie to date. When the dvd comes out I am going to take that fps sequence from the dvd and make a screen saver out if it, man I just cant stop saying ooorah!!!
And just so you know Fn ay is my of saying F***n great.

The last music you bought. |

Since it is so easy to download songs now, I don't buy that much music anymore. If I really like the artist, or it is a great album I do pick it up though. The last music I bought was the Disturbed album I had preordered (which I am pretty disappointed in to be honest) and then I bought You’ll Rebel to Anything by Mindless Self Indulgence which I listen to everyday like five times. They covered Rush’s Tom Sawyer in it and it blows my mind that it is even the same song.
