Could someone who has watched any/all of the 3 Slayers Box sets please post a review? I would really appreciate it.

I am most interested in the quality of the subtitles. I have heard that they are R1 rips, but I want to be sure.

Has any seen the R1 DVD for this with English dialogue? I think it was just released 5/28. I wanted to see if there was much difference between this version and the import MI version. There certainly is a difference in price $30 vs $150 8O I was also wondering if the subtitle speed is ok (I've heard they're fast and many of them) for an average English reader.

I noticed that this is one of the top 10 dvds. Is it out of stock right now? On the dvd price list, there are only the OAV and final collection available.

I was just cruising ebay and I noticed that there is a 2 part - 4 DVD set of Noir intitled: Noir part 1&2 Deluxe Collection

The information made it sound as though this was a new version of the already poorly ripped series.


Is it true that a new version has been released?? I really want this series, but I have heard so many bad things about the subtitles. =(

is there a HK dvd set that is dubbed? If not is anyone planning on putting one out?

Hey I'm new to the anime/HK dvd craze but have jumped in completely.

1) I need to know if there is a general rule about the companies - like which should I stay away from (bad subtitles), which is usually reliable

2) I also need to know if anyone knows which versiion of the ghibli boxed set is supririor. so far it looks as if the one with the nicer metallic box(with totoro on cover) has annoying popup watermarks yet better packaging. any help please? does the other one (white packaging -diff. studio i believe) have the same watermarks on screen for a few seconds

3) is there any specific versiion of the evangelion tv set i should get. is one company version better than another?

Pokemon subbed (I've seen the first two movies released but nothing more)
Dragonball Z TV subbed
Sakura Taisen OVA's subbed
Patlabor TV subbed

Also a final question, are there any sites like isonews that show which titles are released or something?

How many eps are there for Louie? As far as i know, there are 24 eps...why do MI, and AS keep releasing them in a 3 dvd set that contains 18 eps...? And they dont even mention part 1 or 2...are they trying to rip us off? 8O

Are there any new releases recently? You guys dont have a news updated page, so it's kinda hard to keep track. :wink:
