I was wondering if anyone knows the quality of the 2 disc bubble gum crisis 2032 and MTV set by Anime Studio. I believe its an R1 rip, but I was wondering if it is still high quality and worth buying. Thank You for your help!! 8)

Trigun spoiler but must be discussed
Posted by: Shinn Asuka - 07-19-2002, 01:39 AM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (3)

Wolfwood is a member of the Gung-Ho-Guns?! WTF?! He's my favorite Trigun character, and I've been a fan of the series since I first found the R1 releases (like, a year and a half ago o.o) and I just NOW found out! I'm still in shock. Someone tell me it's not true.

Oh yes, and I get a paycheck soon, so I'll definately be ordering the FX Trigun Perfect Set

I calculated it after watching Gun Buster Vol . 2. Why?, because well.... I needed some edge when I have to talk to people at my local comic book store, about increasing my already large order. I have spent .........................Over $5000 on anime. *Drool* You're kidding me right. Nope honest. Over $3800 spent at my comic book store. *Bows* Thank you Ladies and Gentleman.

J POP list for me to download.
Posted by: Steve_the_Talking_Pie - 07-17-2002, 07:56 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (3)

This is just a link for everyone to dump J POP that I should download.
I pretty much have all Maison Ikkoku songs(60 mp3's and 4 cds just need the remix) and Ranma 1/2(150 mp3's and 1 cd) However I would like to know stuff to dwonload. I really like Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru. Do as infinity rocks as well. So pretty much anything whether it be J POP, Anime, or J Rock.

Check these people out. They "distribute fan subs" even though they are lots of DUBs on here. It doesn't matter really because they don't really make any money from it. Not to mention you can get some Hentai off there at a decent price. They also sell the entire Dragon Ball fan subs (that's right DB, DBZ, DBGT all on VHS). They also sell lots of Ranma 1/2, like the first 5 seasons. Only if they had Urusei Yatsura and Excel Saga.

  *Ahem* Escafrowne!
Posted by: SomebodyKillMe - 07-17-2002, 04:29 PM - Forum: Anime Discussion - Replies (4)

I just bought the Vision of Escaflowne set from FlorachanXXX on ebay, and I think I got a good deal, but all the reviews on the site say that the first two episodes have horrible subs, but how bad are they, exaclty? I looked at the screenshots, but they were all either A) From the later episodes, or B)Had no subtitltes! Anyone have this set? Could you help me out? Thanksliness. ^_^

Has anybody seen this? I bought most of the series on VHS. Out of 9 volumes I won 8, missing 7. Should I watch this after KOR, or should I stick to my plan and watch Bebop?

  Another Price Change...
Posted by: JunkieJoe - 07-17-2002, 01:45 PM - Forum: News/Announcements - No Replies

Due to some technicalities that paypal's shopping cart system is presenting before us, we will have to revert back to $6USD shipping flat world wide, BUT we have lowered all AS prices to $9USD per DVD... so all single dvds are now 9 dollars doubles are 18, 3dvd sets are 27 and so on... I think that this will work out to even better deal for you guys!

Initial D. I'm thinking of picking up the AC/MI bundle of Initial D, and I wanted to know more about the series and what everyones thoughts were on it. I know the bundle has 1st Stage: 1-26, 2nd Stage: 27-56, 3rd Stage Movie, Extra Stage, and Battle Stage. And really, I'm thinking of buying it for two reasons. Koyasu Takehito, and Seki Tomokazu o.O Any input is appreciated.
