How many people would pay for a tape of someone cosplaying and singing anime songs and very good at that? Would you pay $5.00 to see that? :mrgreen:

I mean is the picture quality like the R1 dvds or just tv rip, is the sound any good and such, i did read the review, but i want to know if the picture quality is R1 rip or just tv rip

Just finished watching this series on my comp, and I gotta say it was awesome!!!!!!!! I can't believe this series isn't as popular as it should be. Anyway, I decided to check to see if there was an HK set out, and I saw that JunkieJoe just updated his store with GAWL IN STOCK! I was just wondering how this set is though before I got it. All I really need to know is the episode layout, i.e. how many eps per disc. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I just read on animeondvd.com that both Azumanga Daioh and Witch Hunter Robin along with many others have just been licensed by Madman in Australia. Supposedly, they don't do their own dubs, but rather let US companies do the dubs. So, it's only a matter of time before these are licensed by US companies and released here as well.

recently ive notice that loads of animes have fantastic soundtracks opposed to in the early 90s/late 80s when everything had really cheesy scores that sounded the same. but now most anime series have music to rival the quaility of the show.

my top 5 would be:
1. cowboy bebop (obviously!)
2. flcl (japanese punk rock by the pillows!)
3. evangelion (beauitful classical scores)
4. hellsing (funky and haunting tunes)
5. rurouni kenshin (just plain great)

although this top 5 would also be similar to my top 5 favorite anime series, i assure you that these are my favorite series for music also!
