Most Undervalued game for Playstaion |

Well I'm not sure if this topic was brought up before or not but here goes. What do you
think was the most undervalued game for the Playstation? Also do you think it would
have made a good anime? Why or why not? Anyway I think the most undervalued game
for Playstaion was an RPG by the name of Legend of Dragoon. I loved that game and still
do. It was about these select knights who rode dragons and they had this draggoon armor
that contained the soul of a dragon. Anyway the best part was the end where you got the
divine Dragoon Armor which looked like it had a scwarzennegeresque influence. I think
this would make a good anime because there was a great variety of characters, the story
line was superb. It was done even better than the FF series. Anyway if you have a game
that you think should receive an honorable mention shout them out here.

Time Warner and Itochu Corp (C. Itoh & Co.) have announced that they will jointly produce new anime to be broadcast simultaneously on Cartoon Network in Japan and North America.
By April 2006, the joint venture is expected to be producing weekly episodes for three shows, at a budget of 20 million yen ($US 190,000) per episode, 20 to 50 percent higher than the current average budget for anime TV series. The added budget will be spent on higher-than-average quality animation using more animators and other staff than is typically used in anime.
By June 2005, the joint venture is expected to be set up with a fund of 3 billion yen (US$29 million) and will seek funding from other partners including broadcasters, animation studios, and toy manufacturers.
In addition to producing the anime, the companies expect to profit from the development and marketing of related merchandise. Guaranteed spots on the American and Japanese Cartoon Networks, combined with the worldwide popularity of anime, is expected to insure better than average returns on investment, enticing investors.
The anime series will also be marketed to international broadcasters in Europe and Asia.
I wonder what the series will be about and if it will really pick. They will really need something thats Pure Sublime. sound cool though i think this is the first of its kind to air here and in japan at the same time, i wonder if its going to be subbed or dubbed??

Manga Vs. American Comics |

So we all know that in the last 3 years manga has been kicking the crap out of American comics in sales. Specially at Amazon and Barnes and Nobles....I thought this link was funny, it features Marvel chief editor Joe Quesada and well you'll see, just scroll down till you see the article called O' Heartless Spider.

I've been reading comics for 20 years and Manga for 16, I hate to see the comic book industry hurting again, reminds me of 1995, probably the worst years for comic book stores. However I am glad Manga is finally starting to get the respect it deserves here in the states.

New movie based on game coming out!! |

I can't believe it. They are coming out with a movie starring one of my favorite
characters, Rayne from the Bloodrayne series. I am so stoked. Has anyone else played
these games? They are among some of my favorites, although they are both a bit short.
The only game I can remember shorter than these are the Gungrave games. Anyway
what do you think about the fact that they are coming out with a movie? Do you think it
will bomb, or do you think it will rock? Also if you have playrd the games, which did you
think was better BloodRayne 1 or 2? Anyway give a shout out.

Hey everyone, dunno if there is a demand for this, but considering how hard it is to find anime in spanish, i thought i'd try to spread the love... What i have are all on VCD's so "trading" is going to be pretty open ended, I'm thinking of this as more a service to any Spanish speakers and readers... here goes
Neon Genesis Evangelion ep 1-26 Spanish DUBBED
NGE End of Evangelion Spanish SUB
Ghost In The Shell 2 Innocence Spanish SUB
Slayers: The Motion Picture Spanish SUB
InuYasha Specials: The Woman who loved Sesshomaru, and Spring Special Spanish SUB
I have one set of Cover Art for each, if demand is nil, they go with it, if there are lots of inquiries i'll figure out a way to copy it...
if interested lemme know,
Aust
P.S. There are lots of kids in the millitary that only speak Spanish so if anyone's got some loved ones serving consider the posibilities.
