  Good Anime Soundtracks
Posted by: The Maniac - 02-19-2005, 04:47 PM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (31)

I just bought the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Soundtrack and I must say it is amazing! It was done by Yoko Kanno, of Cowboy BeBop Fame. It's not quite as good as the Cowboy BeBop Soundtrack in my opinion but it's a much different style of music. Whereas Cowboy BeBop was based on blues music Ghost is more rock/techno inspired.

I also got the "Katana" soundtrack to Samurai Champloo (came with the DVD). It's really awesome if you like hip hop inspired beats. There's some amazing mixes on there. When I listen to it in my car it makes me drive fast Big Grin .

Anyone else heard any good soundtracks recently?

  Gundam Action Figures
Posted by: Cidien - 02-19-2005, 02:21 AM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (8)

Any of you know a store that has many 7-8" gundam action figures in stock? I really want a 7.5 rose gundam, but nobody has one. Ebay's kind of a pain too. I kept putting off getting one on ebay since there were so damn many of them and now that I decided to go get one there are only like 2 on ebay and not even BIN auctions.

Anyone else out there a gundam figure collector? I've heard they released the seed arch enemy gundam (which I just ordered) and now cancelled all future arch enemy models. I really don't understand bandai. Those arch enemy figures flew off the shelves. If they wanted to make even more money for little investment all they would have to do is resell the tallgeese iii one which is extremely rare and i've seen sell for over $80 at times....

Right now all i've got is Wing Gundam Zero (was really lucky and got the last one hiding way in the back my friend found) and the rx-78 one. Prolly gonna buy a gelgoog off ebay for like $25 before their price skyrockets as well. Why I bought the seed one now, they stopped production early for some reason. I havn't even seen one sold in town anywhere... idiots. There's absolutely no way they are losing money on a toy that flew off the shelves like that. Well, the rxwhatever stayed on the shelves for a while cuz they made too many of them and not enough of the gelgoog (again... idiots) but even those are gone now.

Well, in short - Bandai sucks and I want to find large gundam figures. Anyone know where I can get them? Tired of doing google search circles. Making my head hurt...

  new good traders list
Posted by: Cyrus - 02-19-2005, 02:08 AM - Forum: DVD Trading - Replies (2)

ok so i wanted to check the good traders list and i mean since it's really long now i thought why not make a new one that has just one post per person and they can edit their post that way it won't grow to be huge so like for me lets say i traded with:

person 1 person 2 person 3 and person 4 i would do this

Good trades with

Person 1 (2 times)
Person 2 (5 times)
Person 3 (1 time)
Person 4( 6 times)

and when i make a new trade i edit my (ONE) post and i go

Person 5 (4 times)

please oh please do this if possible

if you feel the need to rant and rave about a good trader do it in a different place or on your own post same thing for someone you hate or whatnot Big Grin

  funny windows glitch
Posted by: odin0425 - 02-18-2005, 10:28 PM - Forum: General Babble - Replies (1)

ok, so the only reason im posting this is because im board off my ass. I am downloading the new release of SuSe Linux. Its a DVD image and its 3.2 GB big....needless to say, its gonna take a while.

When windows downloads a file larger then a specific size (i think 1.5 gigs), the downloader will start counting backwards from 0, because it cant convert the file size to an actual percent (stupid windows cant even count right) so right now my download is at
-120% (i still have 16 hours to go) YEAH WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!
