The Dead Zone and Monk are both great USA shows that came out about the same time. Just burned the first season of monk, thinking about buying the dead zone seasons when I have money again. :p

I've been a Whedon fan for a long time. I remember when this board had nary a Whedon fan. Now look at all of us! That said I can't wait for this movie. I haven't anticipated a movie like this in a very very long time.

I was waiting for you to respond Kakoi, I remember when I first starting posting here, you had a Lorne avatar. Hell yeah I can't wait for this movie either!!! For anyone that hasn't seen it. What the hell are you waiting for? Go and borrow it, chances are, someone you know has it!

Nobody I know has it and theres only 1 rental store in town that has it. Needless to say it's constantly checked out. Stupid 7 day rentals lol. What the hell does someone need a movie for 7 days for. 4-5 is more than enough... oh well.

I hadn't heard of firefly until i started working at the school's PC helpdesk. I really wanted to see Serenity just because I wanted to see Joss Whedon's transition from TV to movies. (Even if he has done movies before, this is going to be the crucial one for his career and stuff, since i hadn't heard of him before Buffy.) Anyhow, now i'm going to borrow firefly from people at work.

A friend of mine downloaded all the DVD-ripped episodes (Xvid), and burned it on DVD for me. I was watching it just last nite on my Divx/DVD player. Great timing, consider I was going to go and get it next week from Best Buy. Good series, would've loved to see a full second season.

Well, if you need more reasons to go and check out this movie, here are four of them:

Turns out noon today is the earliest I can get to it here. So I'll be there at noon.

I'm kind of upset that I there wasn't a midnight show around here.

Wow. I saw the movie hours ago. It was fantastic. I'll be seeing it again this weekend.

I really can't believe how some of these secrets were kept for so long. I'll post more about the movie itself when I can calm down a bit.

I'll second kak's glowing review of the movie.
It would be so easy to fill a whole post with spoilers because I want to talk about it but I'll resist and just say that I plan on seeing it at least one more time before too long has passed.

Great, have to watch the ending episodes to refresh my memory. Can't wait to watch it this weekend. I was in Hawaii for the past couple of days and I had to beg my boyfriend to go to the beach instead of watching the Firefly marathon! But seeing couple of episodes reminded me how good the series was.
