I came from the 1980's, so it can't be all bad, but no one is asking you to leave, Ryo. Continue the self pity posts and they just may. Like Vicious said, either jump or quit with the Hammer and "80's is so great" posts. I think your problem is that you don't give anything else a chance. Try watching modern TV and listening to some Classic Rock/jazz/classical/alternative/country...whatever you choose. Just let Hammer be a found memory and sit on your shelf.

I dont get it , is it that we are running out of interesting stuff to post - so we have to talk about Television shows from the late 70's - not that it was a shitty show or anything , but whats next -- Dukes of Hazzard ? Well daisy was at least nice to look at , even if that show sucked .

What I don't understand is people's need to have something to talk about.
Sure if there's something about an anime happening then it would be cool to know about and find out each others opinions. If there's an event in someone's life then that's cool to talk about as well.
I'm finding that more and more people feel compelled to creat discussions and other things to do online without stepping away from the keyboard for a while. There's this really bright thing outside called the sun and some green stuff called grass. Spending a little time outside each day just enjoying these things and all the other great stuff in the world around us can be pretty rewarding as well.
Personally, I feel that checking your email and reading your forums once a day can be healthy. Unless you have business that needs to be done or you're waiting for something specific then give your monitor a break.
Grrr... maybe I should start a rant about this... wait... I just ranted a little bit... maybe I'll rant some more tomorrow... now it's time to mow the lawn...

/\/\Well, one would be good without the other, but because of photosynthesis, you end up having to mow the green stuff like you are getting ready to.

I'm allergic to grass, pollen, & proper spelling.
Edit: And last time I started a thread about a manga someone asked that the thread be deleted..-_-
My Soul Brings Tears to Satanic Eyes.
If Max Collins, Matt Skiba, Jimmy Urine, & Mark Phillips had a child it would be one fu*ked up mofo, but 'it' would be the God of music.

As a moderator, I can assure you that I won't delete any thread just because it's about manga. There is an off chance that I may move it if you put it someplace where it isn't on topic (like in the trading thread).
Personally, I love to read manga. I just finished reading the first 8 books of Sanctuary and am anxiously waiting for the final book to show up in the mail.

People like to talk about stuff, crap or otherwise, we just do. Not everyone is social like myself I hate crowds and most forms of socializing so I tend to prefer forums (when I get the chance to post that is). I am not a loner I just hate malls and crowds because stupid people tend to flock in groups.
