I know it usally takes a bit of time for people to translate the anime and a bit longer for dubbing. So does any 1 know around how long it takes to get a anime subbed and also dubbed and why are some not dubbed also? popularity?.

normally about 2 years from Japanese TV to Western dual Audio DVD

But the 2 years isnt down to how long it takes to actually dub and sub its more how long licensing etc takes aswell...

There are many factors in licensing and dubbing an anime for USA release: licensing cost, interest, creators wishes, projected earnings etc etc.
