Captain Tylor Tv is also a great comedy. Made me laugh in almost (if not all) every episode. Awesome series. Can't wait to watch the ova's.

Go with Outlaw Star it has just the right touch that it isn't overly tecnical, but the humor that is in it is not over the top. Cowboy Bebop and Trigun fit the mold much the way Outlaw Star. Save the .Hack , Escaflowne , and Creast of The Stars when you want a anime that makes you think hard to find the underlying storry and meanings
