the christmas special is one of the few anime which has actually made me CRY!!! (the other being episode27 of fushigi yugi)
and it's a FANTASTIC movie to watch around christmas time also.....
as for the series.... i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it to death!!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! one of the best anime i've ever seen..... only cause it had everything...... romance, comedy, action, and comedy! wait, i said that already :p
as for the OAV..... i liked it also..... it seemed to add closure to the series..... and i liked that n_n

If you like Love Hina that much, I have to send you the Manga for the content that happened after the TV series. It blows the OVA out of the water and adds much more closure. More emotion, more comedy, more content!
Why couldn't they have made a second TV series?? There was WAY more than enough awesome content to do it. =(
Even if you don't normally like Manga, you will like this. There is just so much you miss if you don't read it. The OVA is only a small fraction of the story and it is actually very different from the later Manga issues.
Next time I go over to my friends house (I only have 56k at my house) I'll try to upload the manga somewhere.

i remember awhile back a friend of mine uploaded ALL of the love hina manga.... i mean ALL of it..... it was like 400+ megs......
but i never got around to grabbing it.... and now it's gone u_u
i'm not THAT huge of a fan of manga.... but when it's a series i REALLY like... then sometimes i'll look into it :p

I never cryed, but what an amzing series just finished all the OVA's and the Love Hina Again extras make it one pretty kewl series!!! :twisted: :twisted:

Toykopop in my opinion is doing a great job releasing the Love Hina and GTO manga's. They release 1 volume per month which isn't too bad, Volume 6 comes out next month. Worse for GTO though because it has like 24 volumes.

Suprisingly they are releasing Kodomo No Omocha and Miracle Girls Manga. How about the anime for these Tokyo Pop? Or at least finish Saint Tail. Ouch!!!! :mrgreen:

lifestop do you have issue 0 of the love hina manga? If you do isn't it great, if you don't it sounds like you need it. It has the most love hina info ever and it has color pages and stickers 8O 8O

Where did you get love hina 0? I was looking all over the place for it but cant seem to find it. Isn't it only in japanese though, unless someone translated it and out it on the internet, if it this please tell me where to find it.

LOVE HINA 0 where I get all of my japanese books:
SASUGA JAPANESE BOOKSTORE They carry alot of stuff and can order almost anything(except pornographic materials) It is in Japanese only as far as I know no place on the internet has it translated, but I haven't looked for it. Go to

Dont bother with Love Hina Final Selection, the first DVD contains a half hour summary of the entire TV series. The second DVD is just a live action concert with the cast of love hina
