"Marmalade Boy" Coming to R1 DVD in April

Tokyo Pop, which already has the "Marmalade Boy" manga, will be releasing the anime version on R1 DVD, starting in April. Each release will be in sets of 3DVDs per set, with the first set containing 18 episodes.
But be prepared for sticker shock -- the first set has a SRP of US$99.99.

If I read that correctly, doesn't that mean the whole seires will cost around 400 bucks?:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: May I please be wrong.

That news is a little old, but regardless, I'm happy. Only problem I have is with the ugly cover art. I hate the strip that's on the side of all of their releases (DVD's and Manga's). I like Marmalade Boy, but I dislike Tokyopop, so I'll wait for the set to be 'imported'. I can finally get rid of all the tape's and replace them with shiny, pretty disc's.
Oh and it's 19 episodes on the first disc as well (not 18). |
