Being a avid R. Takahashi fan, i find myself liking inu yasha very much. I'd like to know what it is people like about it. specifically the action and storyline, or maybe the relaiontship romance slapstick stuff? I find most poeple like the romance stuff, if so you're better off trying maison ikkoku
There are some dud episodes, such as the ones to these weird cats!
Its true, takahasi's work is very similar in characters.

Maison Ikkoku, to me at least, is probably the greatest love story ever told, in an anime. I loved it, but Inu Yasha has a mix of everything good Takahashi ever did, I beleive that is why people enjoy it so much.

I'd like to second that Maison Ikkoku opinion.. As for Inu Yasha.. I guess I should watch an ep of it some day.. I love Ranma and Urusei Yatsura as well.. I dunno, when I watch an anime, I usually collect it, and seeing as there's no end to Inu Yasha in sight, it's kinda intimidating.

question.
aside from FX perfect part 1. is there any other company planning to make a perfect version.
as my cartoon network doesn't have toonami and adult swim, i'm from Asia. FX is unavailable in store shelves here.
so i bought the tv-vhs-dvd rip version. (my only option)
the dvd rip looks awesome. i need to get those.

The only other company is MI, but those are just rips of the FX set.

If I had to guess I would say that FX will put out the next part of InuYasha either in last december or some time in January.
