Crappy Things That Come From Canada
#1
Lets list some really crappy things that have come from Canada, if I miss anything feel free to add to list. (They are in no particular order)

Celine Dion

The horrible prunonciation of words.(About="a-BOOT", Frank Sinatra="frank sin-AT-ra", David Bowie="david BOO-EE", house="HOOSE")
(I know there are more words so feel free to add)

Bryan Adams

Degrassi(its some crappy show with canadian pre-teens/teens in middle school)

Avril Lavigne (I dont care if people call her a "Punk Princess", I still dislike her crappy punk-pop, music, oh yeah she still is a vertically challenged canadian)

the fact that Canada really is not a country, but still acts like one. Lets face Canadians would rather be ruled by a country way way way smaller than its' self, which just so happens to be an ocean away!

well thats all i got for now, more to come, hopefully you guys will add.

I mean to offend no one, I just want to voice my 2 cents.

Canadians Rock dude. Haven't you ever watched South Park??? They saved the world from Saddam Housein!!!! AND they gave us The Kids in The Hall!!! AND That's where Import Anime Comes from!!!

But that Stupid girl who is ALLEGIDLY Punk is one good reason I don't listen to the radio or watch MTV or any TV for that matter. I have been MTV free for over a year and a half now and could care less if it fell off the planet.

Oh and don't forget, Canada is also where one of the best Dave Attell Episodes came from for his Insomniac show!!! Canada is great!!!

I think I have to agree with Darkie here, I love Canada, the cities in Canada are beautiful and actually clean. They have the best crime rate of any other country in the world and they have as many guns per households as the US. Most Bryan Adams is the man!!!! and without Canada there Conan would not have the French Canadian or Gay skit. And the number one reason why I love Canada is: Most Canadian chicks I've met love anal sex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread has brought a whole new level to my appreciation of Canada!

In that spirit I must say my favorite contribution to the world from Canada is Christine Young! Yeah, great website!

I could care less about Canada or any other country. But there are alot of hot babes from Canada. Pamela Anderson and Shania Twain are teh 2 that come to mind immediately. But there are dozens more that I cna't think of right now. For that, I love Cananda.

I love living here in Canada.
I miss living in London, Ontario though. Western University there has been rated as having the most promiscuous girls of any campus in North America. I can vouch for the reality of that. I had more crazy sex in the two years I lived there than just about anywhere else I've lived.

I do have to agree that Canada is home to some corporate punk bands like Avril Lawasserface and Sum41. I actually enjoy their music but it's so processed that it's an entirely different creature from proper punk (which is more attitude than style).

And it's weird but I've also noticed Canadian girls are more willing to let someone in their back door. The down side is the Canadian girls I've been with are also less likely to swallow than girls from Michigan.

Blame Canada!

I hear what you're saying about drinking age.
In Michigan, I started drinking when I was 14.
OK... so I got drunk once and not again till I was out of high school but a lot of my classmates didn't stop drinking.
The biggest thing for me was getting into the good bars to see the good bands play. For that, I needed fake ID.

And I'm pretty sure that the drinking age is 19 in Ontario and 18 in Quebec. I'm not too sure about the other provinces.
Either way, the University students seem to mature much more quickly up here than they did back in Michigan.

I liked the old DJH/DH series. The one with Joey, Snake and Wheels. Now that was some quality young adult television.
