Actually its a company called Agetec that bought SNK but you are right most of the original programers that worked on the original street fighter left and went to SNK, that is why there was a huge lawsuit in 1990 over the Fighter's History game. Now its Capcom who is having financial problem, so much that they have cancelled seven of their future projects. Fortunately because of the Japanese fans website Poll Capcom Allstar fighters ( or whatever they are calling it now ) is still coming out. Now if only SNK VS. Capcom would be released on the Dreamcast.

WRONG!!!!! Agetec PUBLISHES the American version SNK is DEAD! Only it's ghost exists through Capcom! Agetec published their lasst handful of games over here for us and now only the big C can actually use the characters from SNK. AGETEC CANNOT *MAKE* A NEW GAME WITH AN SNK CHARACTER ONLY TRANSLATE AND SHIP AN ALREADY EXISTING SNK PRODUCED GAME IN THE STATES!!!!

There are still future titles from SNK production team coming out, and its Agetec and another Pachinko machine making company that are backing them up, such as a new Metal Slug and a new KOF, and for some reason some golf game. It would be great to see SNK be completely bought by Capcom though. Ohh yeah and Freaking Dan does rule even though its funny that he has been in a game with characters he was made to mock!

I recently heard that SNK is going to be reborn here in the states. I hope that it is true.

Several boss characters from Playmore's SNK Vs Capcom: SVC Chaos are revealed, besides the officially bosses Demitri, Dan, Geese, Goenitz. There are several special bosses, include Brain Washed Ken, Orochi Iori, Shin Akuma, Shin Karate.
Two special bosses are available: Red Arremer / Firebrand from Ghouls n' Ghosts, and Bikini Athena from the classic Athena action game.

Maybe this is a stupid question. But where exactly is Son Son from? I remember I was playing Marvel vs Capcom 2, and I said she had to have some relation to Saiyans of some sort. Then I looked closer, tail, power pole, and thought, what about that Monkey Legend that Goku comes from? My friend agreed. But I dont remember anything Marvel or Capcom tying into that legend.
You know, Id be happy to see Hanako and Strider in SNK vs Capcom as well. Put Ukyo in, and have them face off with Haohmaru and that Giryu (Haohmarus rival) guy... talk about a fight...

SonSon is from SonSon, a Capcom arcade game which was later ported to the Famicom (not sure if it was ported to US NES though).

Ah... I see it now. But it really looks like an odd Donkey Kong type game.

I finaly got to play the game it freaking rocked, I got my ass wooped by a guy that had a 92 winning streak with Terry Bogard. But I can't beleive it was at Otakon this year, so that means it will be out for the PS2, Xbox, and hopefully DC in a month or two.
