A place called C's that's across the street from me. Not particularly fast, but way better proportions than McDs, and they're even better than Wendys' food and from what I can tell, typically cheaper (like $2.50 for a burger and fries instead of $3-$4). As for national chains, Wendys. Also the first Wendys open in Columbus, Ohio was a regular eating haunt when I lived in Ohio

Haha! In-n-Out Burger rocks the house! They're great with only a couple different items on the menu, but they know how to make 'em. I like to get a cheeseburger "animal style" with a chocalate/strawberry shake! Owned by a private family too and only accept cash. Wish I had that kinda dough and no SEC filing. What a life.
