Okay, I'm just now really getting into anime, and I wondering if any of you out there have any suggestions for what I should watch. I've already watched all of Escaflone(sp?) and Trigun. (which i am watching again at the moment) I'm supposed to go shopping next week, and I wanna blow my money on some good anime. All suggestions are welcome, and please not too much hentai.

I had like 2 paragraphs of junk telling what series/movies to get, then my browser crashed, & now I don't remember all that I type, but I'll try to summaries.
Guyver- Barrow from David.
S. E. Lain- Deep & Very Meaningful Story
Ninja Scroll- There's some porn in there, but there's also the rememorabile part where one guys rips another's arms off & drinks the dripping blood from them.
As for Hentai  I'd suggest Bible Black, the only problem there is the characters will rememind you of two people here in Perry, & seeing someone who looks like one of boy's ex-s (Amanda) might not be the greatest idea in the world.

I second Cool Devices. Watch it with your mom, its great family viewing, j/k :mrgreen:
Now and Then, Here and There is really good. I also recommend Gasaraki. Both are very serious series

Woah woah woah. What about the basics =)
Escaflowne and Trigun are an awesome start. Your next move should be on Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion. Get the biggies out of the way first before you start getting into obscure eccentric stuff like the rest of us ^_^
Oh yeah, and Cool Devices is without a doubt the most X rated piece of film I have ever seen. Extremely graphic barely begins to describe it. You will never see anything with more detailed sex and sexual violence in your life, so unless you are ready to see everything there is to see, I'd hold off.

I agree with Vance. Stat with the basics. If you watch some of the more specific stuff, you might not like it, and it might turn you off on anime altogether. Definitely get Cowboy Bebop first. Then you might want to get some Rurouni Kenshin, Ranma, Lupin, Fushigi Yugi, or Berserk.

if were talking basics ill have to go with...
Cowboy Bebop (Action and overall awsomeness), Irresponsible Captain tylor(Comedy), Rouruni kenshin and Ranma for longer series. and last but certaom;u not least, One Piece(that is once you get used to bad HK quality)
