The story was ok, but nothing special - you'll see when you watch it. There is this one current theme that gets repeated through out, oh and yeh if you haven't played the game you won't understand a single thing.

And yeh it is much better than the spirits within because it actually has characters from the game, and their story is related. However

I thought it was kinda cheesy the way Sephiroth quickly came in and went - what was that about?

Beautiful eyecandy basically. But thats just my opinion, so you all might like it. (you all everybody! lol, sorry just a little 'Lost' reference there.)
