In one of the back streets on a corner there is also a mall for console stuff, some pirates too. But they usually raid that after Suen Woo.
For pc pirates and other pc stuff go to Golden Shopping Centre in Sham Shui Po.
I recognised the psp background to be mongkok at a glance. On saturdays you can't see any ground as there are so many ppl. Most densely populated area in the world apparently. Just imagine a zombie outbreak!
Last year i did Hong Kong, China, Thailand & Japan. Japan really bankrupted me and yet that is where i got the least stuff. For anime Hong Kong was better, dvds were cheaper and in english and often the same merchandise was cheaper in HK.
Thailand was great for clothes and pretty cheap overall. We stayed in a super nice hotel for absolute crap all since my sister got us an air crew discount and plus there was a discount already as the hotel was not yet finished. The hyatt buffet there was pretty cheap and really good.
Japan is great but make sure you have lots of moolah! The food i found quite bland overall compared to Hong Kong.
I hope you've been for dim sum. Have you smelt the stinky tofu in mong kok yet?
