Did a big MAC order earlier this year, and so far the biggest disappointment was "Tenchi in Tokyo". I really should have believed the other reviewers :o
The first eps were ok, but it really gets boring quickly. The second disc lies for a month now, waiting to be watched. And I really can't forgive them, that they made Ryoko kind of "unsexy". Boooo!
Another disappointment was ONE. I expected some kind of "Kanon", and while it was melancholic, it also was totally confusing. Don't ask me what it really was about.
All other stuff I've seen so far matched or excelled my expectations. And sometimes you just have to take the risk of being disappointed to find some gems like Super Gals or Animation Runner Kuromi-chan.
