To the best of my knowledge and abilities to find information on search engines, the RIAA has never taken the stance that ALL mp3s are illegal. They have made a number of other mistakes over the last few years but declaring ALL mp3s has not been amongst those errors.

I also made an error. I was out of hand saying you were full of shit. Sorry about that but I've been a bit edgy today and should enforce some self censorship here. I've had a bit of an issue with people making up public policies and laws in my assorted news groups without any basis in reality.
