Resurection is the first R1 DVD of Shin Getter Robo: Armageddon (which is the same as Last Day of the Planet. ADV called it Armageddon so they could fit that overlay in -_-). They never ripped the other parts of it, just to let you know, and just went and ripped the whole set.
For the HK sets that are out, the original series should be watched first. It's not neccesary, but you get a better introducton of the characters. The two OVA that are out, Shin Getter Robo and Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo, can be watched after the first one. Both are in two different universes. There's two other sereis I'm hoping they release in HK, which is Getter Robo G, which continues directly after the first one (so much so that original and G can be considered one story. They are in the manga) and Go, which is a third universe, you could say, following original and G. Go, Shin, and Neo all feature the third generation of Getter pilots, but how the story they are in and how they get there is different. But you can watch both the OVAs without seeing the first series or G.
