Getter Robo title confusion - Vinny - 08-19-2003 This was confusing me while trying to find the correct Shin Getter Robo title to review. You have some labeled as simply Getter Robo. i was wondering if you could change these ones http://www.import-anime.com/index.php?page=view&item_id=524 http://www.import-anime.com/index.php?page=view&item_id=1005 to Shin Getter Robo. The full title is Shin Getter Robo: Last Day Of The Planet, but it's most commonly referred to as Shin Getter Robo. This one http://www.import-anime.com/index.php?page=view&item_id=24 is a different OVA. It's Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo. At first, I thought the first two I mentioned were 3 disc versions of the original series ^_^; If you could change the names to the one's I mentioned, it could lower confusion. Thanks Getter Robo title confusion - Rei1781 - 08-20-2003 Thanx I'll change those right away ..Also, Vinny could you please include the chronological order for watching the series to make life easier for watching this series so I can include the order in the notes section for the dvds Getter Robo TV Getter Robo-Armageddon Getter Robo-Resurrection Getter Robo title confusion - Vinny - 08-20-2003 Resurection is the first R1 DVD of Shin Getter Robo: Armageddon (which is the same as Last Day of the Planet. ADV called it Armageddon so they could fit that overlay in -_-). They never ripped the other parts of it, just to let you know, and just went and ripped the whole set. For the HK sets that are out, the original series should be watched first. It's not neccesary, but you get a better introducton of the characters. The two OVA that are out, Shin Getter Robo and Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo, can be watched after the first one. Both are in two different universes. There's two other sereis I'm hoping they release in HK, which is Getter Robo G, which continues directly after the first one (so much so that original and G can be considered one story. They are in the manga) and Go, which is a third universe, you could say, following original and G. Go, Shin, and Neo all feature the third generation of Getter pilots, but how the story they are in and how they get there is different. But you can watch both the OVAs without seeing the first series or G. |
