I only know 3 girls that watch anime.
And as for that link to the nerd page, it's the stupidest piece of sh!t I've ever read about, how dare they explain my ex friends like that!
, but really, just because the guys I used to hang out with think they're goth, & call themselves otakus doesn't mean they should cause the whole "race" to be drug down with them.
Above, with my friends being an example of how I understand why people would dislike nerds like that, but talk about judgemental. I fit into all the catigories, accept for the fact I'm not a gochic poser, sure people think I am, but I have the scars to prove it
, & please don't say all goths cut themselves, I had to go through that crap with one of my other friends, I'm not goth, I don't cut myself, but BLAH!

As for any anime fans being as big of a fan as I am, I only know one of them around here, David Boccia, he's into EVERYTHING. He has limited actcess, he watches everything me, Luke Luke, & his brother will loan him, & everything he can find on tv. He also pays great detail to everything about the show.
