Yes, most definitely. I certainly hope it never happens, but it could. Anyone who owns the rights to the series could sue, but it would take so long I don't think anyone cares. I support the creators in my own way. Definitely not through R1's. I don't want to help pay for a dub I despise. So yes they could sue. Let's just hope they never do.
