We had such a great turn out for the last caption contest that we're doing it again. This time we're running for the entire month of March so everyone will have a chance to participate to win free anime.
Let me see how clear I can make these rules.
1) All entries should be in the form of a caption or subtitle. Take a look at the winners from the last contest if you need clarification. We had some good entries last time that didn't win because they just wouldn't work as subtitles.
2) You are allowed to enter once per day. If you miss a day then you miss a day. If you log in every day between now and midnight EST on the 31st you will have up to 30 chances to show how funny you can be. It only takes one entry to win.
3) This is an all ages thread so all entries must be "radio friendly" meaning that the CRTC wouldn't fine us if we broadcast it on the radio (which I don't really expect to happen... it's just an example). Use your noodle and you should be able to figure out if it's good or not. If not, one of the moderators will delete your post.
4) The judging system hasn't been finalized but we're working on a system that will allow people to vote on the winners. There may be a first cut decided upon by moderators with blind voting after that... we'll have to see what sort of magic Schultz can work out for us.
5) I reserve the right to make up new rules as I see fit.
Oh yeah... the winners circle will work the same as last time.
1st place gets 3 discs from the store
2nd place gets 2 discs
3rd place gets 1 disc
