:confused: thanks for the help guys but i'm probably more confused now though . i downloaded convertxtodvd and i'm going to see right now how that works...though it is taking a long time to just add files because it's finding the length of them. anyways i hope it works cuz if not i'm going to be really confused about what to do.

ConvertXtoDVD - 2.1.5 this is the new version. try this version if the other 1 does not work.

Most of the time I have to demux the subs with MKVextract and then add them as external sub files-works like a charm-but make sure you save them as srt files or the program won't recognize them-use Subtitle Workshop for this.

i guess i can try that, i tried adding the whole thing first and after about 15 mins of it determining the length, it said it was ~1min...but i guess i'll try again later.
