How was that hellboy movie?

I saw it and thought it was cool. I felt it was a little anticlimactic but left a big space for many sequals to come. Fish guy was cool! How do ya guys/girls feel about the movie?

I had a great time with it! The movie was downright enjoyable. It was a Very good representation/introduction of Hellboy's character and world.

I liked it a lot but there were some things about it that I thought were stupid. But I will definately own it when it comes out. 1 thing I thought was stupid was how they introduce Hellboy. And another thing that i wont get into. Don't wanna spoil anything.Wink

Other than the "Baby Ruth" it was nearly identical to the book. Or are you talking about the present day Hellboy?

No it wasn't the candy, and no it wasn't the present day stuff. BTW did you read it? Cuz it wasn't "nearly identical" it was changed a lot but still did the same as the book. I'm not going to go into detail because of spoilers but it was NOT nearly Identical because they changed some stuff around and added scenes but it was still "on par" with the book. I don't know what Hellboy you saw but the one I saw WAS different than the book. Not saying that's bad just that it REALLY is different.

I saw it and it was ok, had its moments, but I doubt if there will be any sequals, if there will be, i am pretty sure they will be disapointments.

I feel the ending let the whole movie down. Thee was the big build up to the boss fight and then boom in a matter of second it's over and a happy ending. Just my opnion

Yeah I was let down with the end too. Ah well it was a good movie but nothing fantastic about it. It AINT the best comic movie yet but it was WAAAAYYY better than that atrocious Dare Devil. On a Scale of Dare Devil to Pulp Fiction I would give it a Desperado (about a 7).Cool

My exact rating for the movie is a 7.2.Wink I thought that it was refreshing to have a movie like Hellboy in the theater. It was just fun, and it never took it self too seriously.Wink

I never took an interest in the comics, I wasn't a Mike Mignola fan at all, but I really dug the movie, it was fun and had its moments. Yeah and I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Daredevil sucked ass!!!
