Cobra DVD set?
#1
Does anyone know about a Space Adventure Cobra TV DVD set ever being released. I had a catalog from a dealer in Hong Kong that said it was "coming soon", but that was a year or two ago. Any info would be appreciated.

It seems that the set you talked about has ben released! I hope you already know about it and maybe are considering buying it. But we should try to find someone who has already bought it to review it, so that we know what we are buying, how well is the video/audio quality and the most important as far as I am concerned - are the subs readable or Engrish, as many people here cal it? I have never had the priviledge to watch at least one episode of the Cobra TV series , but have seen the movie and a comercial on french television show called Manga Zone which was broadcasted early in the morning some 10 years ago on one of my local televisions. A friend who lived in France told me that this show was one of his favourites, and I imediatly decided to get it. God, I hope this set is OK, since there is no hope of it being released in the States. I hope you're with me. Let's inform the others and try to find someone who has already bought and watched this set.

This site I go to appears to have it stock. I've ordered from here before and it usually takes at least 2 or 3 weeks before I get the order, sometimes longer but I get it.

OK, please do at least a quick review of the set when you get it, so that other people know is it bad or good. This site you told me about has abssolutely the lowest prices I have seen so far! I am definetly gonna order from it if you say that the DVD's are OK. Please take consideration of the subtitles mostly. Thanks.

easy review:

The set if virutally beautiful, visually. It comes in a fold out gatefold (MI) case, which means at times the disks are hard to put in.

The cover art is kinda dull.

The video quality is flawless, and crisp.

The audio is fantastic, with no sync issues from what i saw.

Subtitles are "ok". Not too bad, but not the best either.

it comes with an english dubbed documentuary, the rest of the set is subtitled.

Produced by Fantasy productions, AKA MI. B

Thanks for the review! I will go and buy it online. By the way, here are some other sites where people who are interested can buy it:

Still, the store you told me about has the best prices.

Thanks for the review! Glad to see some old stuff is coming out again. Also seen some new sets of Ashita No Joe on Ebay. Now I wish they would finish releasing Galaxy Express 999 Sad
