Is this even real?!

That was Theo van Gogh but he was killed by a wanabe Binladen which is not the average muslim. That guy who killed him was extreme and he sorta had it comming to him. He was looking for the line and he crossed it multiple times. But still, freedom of speech is a big thing here and totaly respected by most of us. But you just know how sensitive muslims are about their religion. He had collums in newpapers where he was very critical about the muslim society and called it and muslims all kinds of names. What he was really killed for is a short movie called Submission. In the movie naked muslim woman with koran texts painted on their bodies talk about the abuse they and other woman get in their culture which is justified by the men through religion. Naked muslim woman is a nono but those koran texts really pissed alot of em of.

It wasn't meant to provocate but make people think. And that's a core problem with muslim culture. They get offended before they even think for themselfs and they're not critical with themselfs. They hardly take a stand against other muslim countries like afghanistan which broke human rights left and right or condemn suicide terrorists. But when there's a cartoon with Mohammed in it all hell breaks lose.

The thing that annoys me is that muslims are free to criticise, make fun of and just plain hate whoever/whatever they want (Jews particularily) but when something offends them, instead of just taking the moral high ground they take to the streets threatening violence and burning flags... That never accomplishes anything. It's the mentality of a five year old. The cartoons were in bad taste and I would of taken the side of offended muslims had they not reacted in such a way that nearly makes you want them out of your country. I thought our country had evolved enough to get past beheadings and death threats.

I don't know if you heard about this in other countries but there was one guy in the protests in England dressed like a suicide bomber that caused outrage. He was tracked down and turned out to be a convicted crack dealer who got arrested again as going to London broke conditions of his bail. How hypocritical is that? You have a crack dealer who wants to threaten violence on people (who are not even muslim) for drawing a cartoon?! I guess that's my whole word to describe the muslim mentality, hypocritical.

I had a conversation once with a muslim friend I had about how he was going to have an arranged marriage. He kept saying I couldn't understand it as it was just an asian culture thing my western mind couldn't comprehend. I had to point out to him that we had arranged marriage in the west as well until we got rid of it as we realised it was wrong. It's almost like the muslim mentality is hundereds of years behind the western world yet we bring them in the thousands into our modern society and expect it to work.

Wow bit of a rant there Get me started on religion and I talk for hours lol.
