Unless you were talking about the characters in the game when you said "Is that why they think they are better than everyone else", and let me tell you it didn't seem that way, then there's no reason to doubt my ability to tell the difference between real people and characters in a game.

That is exactly what I meant when I wrote that. I mean, when was the last time any one saved our world?

First you were complaining about these new RPGs because everybody was pretty but then you complained about the bad writing and the shallow characters. If you don't like these new games because of the lack of depth or whatever then fine but not liking them because you don't like bishounen characters is a bit narrowminded, almost prejudiced. Personally, I seriously doubt they're pretty to compensate for their lack of depth. They look the way they do because that's what pleases the players in Japan, it's in conformity with their culture and aesthetic principles and since these games are made in Japan it only makes sense they make them according to their likings.

I'd agree with you if I only hated them because of their looks. And partly, I do. I am beginning to develop a prejudice against SE's charters in general, because to me some of them all feel like the same person, or fit in to the cast type. I first talk about the bishounen because they seem to be every where, not just in SE games. By their existence, they are become a cliché. Not scratch that, they are a cliché, absolutely now doubt about it. They may be a part of Japanese culture, but that doesn't excuse them from being over used.

So moving on to why I complain about the writing in their connection to bishounen characters. It is not necessarily how they look, but what their look immediately heralds when you see them. Because of bad writing, they get the bad rap. Which I admit is unfair, but not untrue either. Because writers continually use them in similar ways, the visual design of that character is now pigeon holed.

So I have come to this conclusion. I am different than you. You see a game, and react more like you have described Japanese people to act, and enjoy their looks. Nothing wrong with that, cause you aren't me. I see a bishounen character and curse because of another Emo pretty boy in a FF game. Nothing wrong with that, cause I ain?t you.

Then the Wii is going to have to be seriously cheap compared to the other two. Here the 360 costs almost as much as the 20gb PS3 is going to cost so, unless the Wii is really cheap there's no way I'll be able to buy a 360 and a Wii for the price of one PS3 (and I mean the 60gb one).

I fully expect it to, but I just posted that cause it Microsoft saying to buy a Wii. That has almost infinite humor. And if the Wii managed to out sell the 360, even more.

I kind of see him as desexualised... Maybe scientology is just a big turn off lol... And what's with the leather pants? For someone trying so hard (and expensively) to dodge rumours of their sexuality he's not doing a good job lol. I see what you mean about the nose though...
