In my country there's a big lawsuit going on about our MPAA having a bunch of ip-adresses of people who upload alot of music and they want their names and adresses from the internet providers. But since our MPAA is a private orginasation (looking after the rights of media companies) they are not entitled to that info because of privacy reasons. Now they are demanding the info in court. Very interesting to see what will come out of this especially since I think our country is like a free for all in hosting torrent sites, p2p sites and newsgroups.
I don't know the situation in the US but if its the same with the privacy thing it might take some time before they can get your adress. Probably the same with dvd-master. They have your ip but not your name and adress (or atleast I hope so )
