Your little brother is in that age when kids don't want to be kids and think that doing such a thing as reading children's books is bad for their reputation. Has he read the lastest books? Books 4 and 5 are way darker, I mean there are parents' associations complaining that the books are scaring children and giving them nightmares! And did you know that The Lord of the Rings is originally a children's book? It just had so much success with adults (like HP) that nowadays nobody says it's a children's book.
Anyway, I'm a sucker for fantasy books and Harry Potter is just that. I read the Harry Potter books with the same ease I read Sartre's books.

The Eva came with a bunch of accessories but I don't think the back pops open, at least I never noticed.
